    getting a chat name

    Three times now I have tried to send an email to get a user name and password for the chat room. Every time I get an email back saying that the delivery has been delayed, but not cancelled. Still I haven't gotten a response. Can you help me?

    Well, I know that hotmail accounts usually don't get through, and I think also maybe aol, or something? One of those big providers. Anyway, if you're using one of them, an idea maybe is to either switch your e-mail address to soemthign less common or alternatively you could probably PT Lee, or something. Or just sit here looking pitiful and wait for her to notice you, or summat.

      Well, I noticed. I'll take care of it today.

      But, Lina, this is indeed one of the ongoing problems we've been having with Hotmail and AOL addresses: which is why we no longer allow Forum members to use them as their contact addresses on registration. Delivery often gets delayed or never happens at all. I wish I had some sense of why this was, but I don't. ...Anyway, this is the first time we've had such a problem with a NetZero account, and I have no idea what went wrong: but in any case, my apologies.

        Thanks Lee. I actually did send the request on my hotmail account. I didn't even think about it! Force of habit to send from there. Sorry bout that.

          This reminds me. I still haven't gotten the chat password and I've been here how long? Over a year. I have to send an e-mail to get it.

              Well, when did you send it? It's manual, so it can't exactly be instantaneous.
