I NEED HELP WITH MY AVATAR!!!!!!

Dai, guys. I've been having trouble with my darn avatar. I can't download one, and the one's that this site has are dumb! I made this doll angel thing on this website and saved it, but I can't make it my avatar! Please help me, and reply asap!

I think the only way to download an avie is to send it to Lee. But if you're trying to get something from Google or something you just have to go to "custom avatar" and put in the address for the pic. But I'm not sure how to download stuff like yours.

Okay take your doll and save it on to your computer. Make sure your doll is saved with a jpg or gif. (If it's not try to resave it. Then get an account at www.photobucket.com (it's free.)
Once you get an account on the site and place your doll onto it your doll has an adress then go to custom avatar and put the copy and paste the doll's address.

It doesn't let you do a custom avatar anymore! The box where you type in the address is gone. You have to check to make sure it fits the forum's avatar guideline, and then send it to Lee. Z, she can't do that either. YW doesn't allow linking anymore. You still have to e-mail it to Lee.

First of all, you need to have a look at the Forum avatar guidelines, which are at http://www.youngwizards.net/YoungWiz...atarGuide.html.

We no longer support members linking directly to graphics at other sites, because (a) it drives up those sites' bandwidth -- an issue to which DD is sensitive -- and (b) people were using graphics that were too large, copyrighted, or had other problems. Custom avatars now need to be hosted at our own site.

Once your graphic is in line with the Forum rules linked to above, email it to me at admin@youngwizards.net. I'll install it on the Forum servers for you and enable it as your avatar.
