I was just re-reading Dilemma and noticed that the YW.com and YW.net pages bear some striking similarities to the description of Spot's display of the Manual (from Nita's consultation with Dairine about the 'out of ambit' message in the chapter Saturday Morning and Afternoon). In particular, the "operating system herald [is] ... a stylized representation of a book open to a small block of text," and the "messaging menu [is] overlaid on a shimmering blue background subtly watermarked with the manual logo." While the correspondence isn't exact (nor would we expect it to be), DD seems to enjoy making these little jokes on the YW webpages (the YW.com/YW.net 404 page and the WizPod also spring to mind).
