I'm not wild about having to do this kind of thing, but when users break the rules, there has to be some consequence of their actions.
Users "nita2011" and "Orthag" were banned sixty days ago for a chat infraction. If they'd served out their bans, they would have been readmitted around now.
However, they both registered in the Forums again under other identities (nita2011 as "read-a-lot" and "Li": Orthag as "Nick Boomes") and continued to use chat while (they thought) under cover. However, the Forum software has ways to tell when this is happening.
Both having multiple registrations and using them to get around a chat ban are against Forum policy. Both members have therefore been locked out of the Forum for fourteen days while the admin staff consult with DD on whether or not to readmit them.
Even if they are readmitted to the Forums, however, they are now permanently banned from chat.
