  • "A Wizard Alone" nominated for YALSA award -- you can vote!

The Young Adult Library Services Association, YALSA (a division of the American Librarian's Association) is about to open voting on their 2003 Teens' Top Ten contest -- a list of the ten books teens think are the best for 2003. Voting takes place online from October 19-25; readers aged 12 to 18 are elegible.

One of the books on the nominees' list is A Wizard Alone. If you're interested in voting for AWA as one of the ten best books of 2003, you can go to this link between the 19th and 25th to vote. No registration is necessary.

A FAQ page on the award is here.

Well, nuts! That leaves the rest of us right out. Are there places to vote for those of us who aren't teens any more?

I was looking into that -- but for this contest, at least, apparently not.
