Infopop has advised us that the newest version of EVE is now in beta, and will be released to the forums sometime in the very near future. Some of the goodies to be added to the present platform inlude --
- New indicator shows when you have a new Private Message
- Users can report private messages to administrators
- Search Spider Friendly URLs
- New Content Islands for Photo Albums, Individuals and Groups
- RSS and Atom 0.3 feeds for some Content Islands
- Featured Topic Across All Forums
- Forum Specific Online Now
- New Create Shortcut to associate Topics with multiple forums
- Site wide (all forums) notifications available
- Added image align left/right and strike UBBcodes
- Alphabetical Sorting option for Forum Topics list
...It all sounds pretty exciting. We don't yet know the exact date when the beta will be released, but I'll keep you all posted.
