The Shorty awards have started running, folks, and so far there are no nominations for DD. Do our Twitter-using members want to do something about this?
If so, go to http://shortyawards.com and tweet your vote! (To make sure the vote gets counted, do it from the website: the Twitter API is apparently a little dodgy about getting votes posted correctly from TweetDeck, etc.) Important: make sure you do it in the "literature" category so all the votes will go to the same place and not get divided across categories. Also, make sure you but a reason why you're voting for her, otherwise the vote may not count.
Realistically, DD's not going to beat Neil Gaiman or Stephen Fry... but we can at least show her we care.
