Hey Semiramis! Guess what? I made fanart! I had to draw a cartoony thingy from my favorite book. And I drew YW series. Unfortunatly they were very horrible because my mom said.

Why do they look like chikmunks?

Oh, I got that all the time. My mother doesn't understand the subtle nuances of stylizaton, either....

(although now that I've started cging, she's stopped. Colors make everything look more impressive, especially cg colors.)

Semiramis- How do you get those colors? They look great!!! I would say that there computer generated but they're so much <fumbles for a word> more detailed (?) more stylishly utilizing white (?) well... better than I can get with my computer drawing tools. So what's the secret?

The airbrush tool *abuses the airbrush tool*

..that, and I have mid-level cg programs... Photoshop Elements and Arcsoft Studio. The former of which is actually not as good as the full version (Photoshop), and the latter of which actually isn't all that good, but both suit my purposes. Also, layering helps. A lot. And then messing with the huesat/contrast (and occasionally brightness, but that's not often).

...and I use scanned pencil sketches as a base, which probably adds to the "organic"-ness of it all.

Huh? Not at all. Just open up a "photo album" from the "New" tab, and post your images in it. (Let me know if you have any problems with this.)
