Well, judging by this 1965 catalogue, I started getting Lego when I was about 7 (pauses for shocked reactions to me being alive in 1965) and although I stopped for a while, I do have quite a lot of it by now .
The Darth Vader and the Speeder bike trooper are from two actual Lego sets. Dairine is bits and pieces of different figures, like Anakin's face and Mary-Jane Watson's hair. (Spiderman's girlfriend. Yes, Lego do Spiderman sets.) Uh, and the R2s come from Star Wars sets too (duh) and Spot (visible behind Dairine) is a computer from the same Spiderman set as her hair.
I have two not-so-new fanarts that I didn't remember to link here... >.<
The first was a hitpiccy and the second was a response to this quote:
remind me to NEVER show my little brother any more YW fanart. he doesn't understand any of it. he's seen a lot of it so far when I was trying to find the one by semiramis with the 'chibified' Winged Defender and Lone Power. that one he's really mixed up on- he got the WD and the LP backwards, wanted to know exactly who the LP was (my response- the bad guy), and just basically had no clue. then I had to go and show him a pic of Poot. I forget which one, there are several out there. anyway when he asked what THAT was, I told him it was the forum demon- him: "is that like the Lone Power?"
and looks like this:
It's the LP, halfway transformed into Poot... XD
...I haven't been drawing much YW art lately ;.;
...no, wait, that's not true. I've been drawing plenty of YW art; it's just that most of it isn't post-worthy >.<
But Semiramis, you are SOOOOOOOOOOOO talented... You gotta know that. Fan Art is somthing I've been doing for a little while now, since this summer. But I suck, like, you are just sooooooo good. Ok, I'm gonna look at the rest of your drawings now. Excuse me!!!
Semi I love your knew picture. Seriously it's the prettiest thing I've ever seen you draw. Probably the prettiest drawing I've ever seen. seriously. I think it's the white maiden picture, (sorry if I got the name wrong.)
hehe, good times. Hey--what program do you use? Have been wondering for a while now, just never remembered to ask. It looks rather too painterly to be photoshop, though I might be wrong about that.

OK, so ten out of ten for style, but minus several million for good thinking, yeah?

Thanks, everyone X3 (and sorry it took me so long to respond...@.@)
I use photoshop elements 1... you know, the cruddy version (it was free with my tablet)... but I sometimes use photostudio 5 (which was free with my scanner...) to edit out the funny color-anomalies that result from scanning...
Leah: mwee, I'm sure you're fine ^.^ You don't have to be so hard on yourself--after all, most of getting good in art is just drawing a lot. And relearning how to see.
...just to keep all of my YW fanart in one place...
The other weird-thing-wildflower-said pic. I forget the exact quote. Something about how she couldn't imagine the LP dressed like an Icy Pole.
Nice picture... I like the poot one with the lp a lot. Though this one is really cool too. Also. I looked through your galery on deviantart a few days ago. Holly! I was like. Woaaahhhhh... I like your work, its very cool and professional.
Thanks for commenting after what i said. I love to draw, but i stink. Though i know that to get good at somthing you have to practice. I've been dancing for 10 years and im still JUST getting good. Though im really cant say, because like many, im a victom of perfectionism. And i'll tell you, your work looks perfect to me...

right now I'm stuck with a really crappy program that came free with my camera. the camera's really bad (the lens is tiny and you can't adjust the exposure time, so all my picture turn out really dark [no flash]), but...it's a photo editing program, and that's what counts! i have photoshop 4 but lately it's decided not to open... ::grumble grumble::
I'm crying cuz things aren't how
they used to be

Ankaa: you can download OpenCanvas for free (this is only one of the locations; I just went on Google and searched, and this was the first to show up). If that one doesn't work--I haven't checked it myself, as I have my own, but I've lost the original url I got it from--you can check others, too. OC is a bit confusing (although I may just think that because I don't use it that often and thus haven't figured out its specifics), but they have tutorials all over the net. There was another program you can download for free, but I forget which one... @.@
