How do you pronounce Dai?

I was talking to my dog when I wanted to sa "hi"
but I did not know how to pronounce Dai? how do you is It like DAAA, die,DEE, or something other then that?

I seem to remember DD saying something along the the lines of "DAY STEE-HO" i can't remember

You can listen to DD say it in her Wizcast. To me it sounds like "die stee-hoe" as previously posted.
