nita's vacations

nita never seems to get a moments peace, even on vacation. whenever she does go on vacation, she usually ends up saving the world, or "destroying an entire alien culture". so what's going to happen on her next vacation? any ideas?

Nita will probably go off to the unspoilt vacation resort on Mars, and discover that "unspoilt" means you can't buy an ice cream anywhere.

Then she'll discover that she's not comfortable with the dress code among the Martians - though she may appreciate it more on Kit and the other males around.

Then she'll probably try to save Kit from a Martian princess.

Maybe she'll split a pizza with a giant alien reptilian wizard.

At least, those are the impressions I get from DD's hints to date. Except for the ice cream.

weelll. even though what PM says is not unlikely (^_^)i really hope kit and nita get a break, a real one, even if only for a few days, sometime soon. i can't help being sorry for them, after all, saving the worlds must get pretty tiring. and once they've got their rest, i'd be happy to follow what insues..may it be a kidnapping Martian princess or her subjects' gasp-inspiring wardrobe. let's see what the red planet has in store for us, eh?

Wouldn't it be a shame that our characters would get gray hair before they even reched 15? All that stress. I stuppose school seems like a break for them most of the time...unless something causes them to have to do something about schoool, in an upcoming book...


As for the Martian's shocking wear, that I suppose is almost taboo here, heh, should be definately interesting.. Ooh, I wonder what martian pizza tastes like. Probably covered with rocks and dust. Yeah. A lot of them both.

Well, they _do_ enjoy wizardry, and they make it their life: I think they would actually be happier if they didn't have school to worry about: It would give them a lot more time to do things in. Perhaps homeschooling would be the way to go. A wizard goes on call no matter what, and since Nita doesn't seem to have a problem with homework (See AWD) and Kit is definitely smart enough to hold his own (from what we've seen), having a much more flexible schedule would be great.

But then, they do have their Neighbourhood Friendly Spid- I mean, Shrink to help, and as proven in W@W, they _can_ be pulled out of school...when the cause demands it.

I have to say that Nita and Kit _did_ get a bit of rest on Alaalu, before they realised that there was something wrong. They _were_ quite content... Besides, if they just had a normal summer, what would the fantastic major battle in the books happen, anyways? "Look out, Kit, a vicious crab!"

i hate to be a slasher (i've heard DD isn't really cheering for it)but i've always been one of the few Nita/Ronan fans. don't flame me! *runs away screaming for mercy* and lusting after a Martian princess??? any guesses on what she'll look like, anybody?! hee, i just thought of something. what if because we're all hopeless slashers DD gets a whole new character and just pairs HIM with nita? scary thought...
