Anyway, back on topic. Yes, I do believe in magic: I've seen to many weird things in my life not to. And I have some personal experience...

I can't not believe in magic, even if I try. Why? No idea. I'm still sort of fuzzy on my religious beliefs or lack thereof, exactly what label or whatever.

My conception of magic is a certain way in which things or people are connected to the universe. Those who can manipulate those connections I guess would be wizards.

Thoughts? I'd like to hear what you guys think, but if you think I'm mad, tell me why. I mean, you're probably right, but crazy people have more fun

I certainly do. Little skeptical sometimes,but yeah,I do. I daydream about being a wizard all day,and whenever I order books are go to the library I constantly think about the YW series xD Or even when I recieve emails,letters,or phonecalls. The first thing that goes through my mind is 'Mabye its someone asking me to be a wizard.' Yeah,I know,Im weird XD But I love the everything about it. Who wouldnt want to be a wizard?

Okay, so I'm incredibly late but this is an interesting topic...

I've hovered/flew too. Or, at least, had dreams about it. The thing is, a lot of the things I remember from my childhood aren't, according to my parents, actually real. So am I remembering a past life? Sometimes it seems that way. But I definitely feel that I have, in some form or another, flown. I also experience deja-vu all the time. It's really quite unnerving. So I wouldn't really say I believe in "magic"...more, the occult. Oh yes, and my mother claims to have levitated too. Runs in the family? Possibly. You never know with those crazy Italian women

By the way--add another atheist to that list.

No, I don't believe in magic as such. Nor do I believe an pretty much anything that would generally be classified as "supernatural". I believe that there are still many things in the universe we don't yet understand, but nothing that can't be understood eventually without having to fall back on any supernatural explanations.
I also believe that people live in realities that they, consciously or unconsciously, create for themselves. The result of this is that a lot of people believe in a lot of very different things, and will not be convinced otherwise, regardless of any evidence to the contrary.
Incidentally, this worldview also makes me an atheist. This makes life very interesting for me, considering my wife is a devout christian. The situation will only get more complicated as our children get older.

I beleve im magic i hane out with the pagens it rubs off.I am kinda pagen.I do tarot card and things like that.Plz no prejedus.Im mad too.I can sometimes see things before they happen.Im learning spanish to help me cuzz its one of the 3 closest langeges to laten.I can talk to my bird and she ansers back but that might be cuzz im insane.I was rased Luthren but it got fuzz after i turned 10.I had a vison about some thing that happend 10 years ago that i never heard of.Thats me and m y insanity

I think that I have to. When I was a couple of years younger I had dreams about it every night. But the thing is, It actually felt like I was flying. But now I don't have dreams like that a lot.

You know what I have this feeling that if someone took a record and asked people those that have alot of REM sleep (That is sleep where you can control the dream and is oftern a 'flying' dream) then those are the people with the strong feeling of magic or the unexplained!

I know I have alot of REM sleep and I just love it when I can control the dream and fly, it feels right to have that control but its amazong because it never feels wrong! Also I never miss-use it in my dream, I never take advantage of it and I never show off. Its like its natural in that dream state and nothing special!

Maybe Magic is just a special way of bringing a bit of what we dream about back with us when we wake?

some of the perosonal experiences ive had with magic r times when i look at or hold inatimate objects they dont exactly talk to me but they seem ot give off emotions

another time was when i was maybe 10 and my dog Zin was dying she couldnt stand up and her head was stuck tilted slightly to one side. one night before she died i wished on a star that my family and i could have at least one night with her as the bouncy playful creature she had been. the next night my family and i went out to take our other dog Suzy for a walk and as a huge shock to us all Zin jumped up and ran over to us insisting to join us (Her head was even straight up) We were all overjoyed. But the next day when we woke up Zin was back to her head tilted non-walking self.

I kno that that one night magic did happen, because we all wished with all the strength in out hearts that she would get better.
And the strongest magic comes from the heart (or comes from unselfish love)
