  • Gigo, did you get your name from the little turtley guy in high wizardry? I'm not sure if Dairine named the species or not.

I finished my french final... finally! It was easy except my french teacher spent half the class telling us what was on the test and remembering that she had forgotten to teach us several things! So it dragged on through three whole classes!

Do they call flip-flops thongs in Australia? Cuz up here they're... nevermind, I think you know, lol.

Ack, tomorrow I have to go to Esquimalt at 8:00 am, then march in a parade with my trumpet for two hours... Then I go to the park to play at the rotary chili cookoff for and hour and a half. And finally I go to Dallas road by the ocean and play percussion from 5:30 until midnight! Not that I'm complaining or anything!

    • Sai are weapons used in martial arts. They're three-pronged daggers. One of the ninja turtles used them.

I have some. In my closer. Steel, I think. I hear they're making them out of aluminium now, but. . . haha I couldn't switch because I'd throw them out a window because they're like, an ounce, and mine are like. . . a pound or so each.

Grade nines are so. . . aggravating!

So I swear at them a lot and drop a heck of a lot of f-bombs on them.

But my grade nine boyfriend/not lent me his mp3 player.

and I haven't returned it yet because I CAN'T FIND HIM.

      Stupid ngggh!

      • I bought a Hello Kitty watch today. It's really tacky, and maybe it's meant for 9 and not 14 yr olds, but I don't care, it's really cute! The only others were Barbie, boring silver ones, and G-shock (Yugi has one of those. In the manga I saw it ^_~) I needed a cheap and inexpensive one for my trip to France in... TWO DAYS!! OMFG, I'M LEAVING AMERICA FOR MY SCHOOL EXCHANGE-PROGRAM IN TWO DAYS!! AHHH!!!

Lisa-chan, I know you're out there! Please respond. Aidez moi (help me)!! Anyone that has an account on ff.net, answer! I need help posting stories before I leave for France. Stupid site says "error. Please alert site admin." *Grrrr*... It's not been working for three days, and I'm rather impatient...

I got a black bikini-thing today for the beachs in Nice, on the Mediterranean, in France. It took forever to find something I like. I hate bright colors, and almost all of the bathing suits at the store are bright orange! Plus, none of the bathing suits fit right. They were mix-and-match tops and bottoms... I'm small and rather thin (not to mention very short T.T) but I have a lot of bust so I need a small size but then if it's small, the top is too tight! Not that you need to know that, it was just so frustrating... I hate clothes shopping more than anything (unless it's shoes or skirts) ...

I also bought alot of other stuff for my trip. Like sunscreen, flip-flops, a new purse-like thing (they told us we needed fanny-packs. WTF? A fanny pack?! As IF I'm gonna wear something like that -_-; ...) and shorts and stuff. We also needed longer shorts, because in France they FEEL rather than look... I bought a lot of simple "Soffe" shorts that barely cover my butt anyway (only because I roll them up like five time though).

On my trip, we're gonna be in the bus and air-plane ofr HOURS every other day. I need to find some way to entertain myself besides music. I haven't read an actual book in like half-a-year (I usually read ALL the time, so that's strange) but that'll change. And I don't want to use library books because I may leave them across an ocean, so Borders here I come! But what to buy?! I also want to buy some manga (Besides Yugioh...) but I'm brain-dead for which ones... Obviosuly I'll get something by Yuu Watase, I love her books, and maybe the next Inuyasha manga, and I want to try Tsubasa Resvoir Chronicle... any other reccomendations? I like shoujo, shounen, yaoi... basically, I like it all... (This should go in manga-topic, so I'll post there too!)

        • I can relate with you, on my band trip this year, we spent 12 hours a day for six days going down and coming back from Anahiem. We went to disneyland. We brought back siz silvers from the music festival... which would translate into golds by Candian standards! Our band rox!

But yes, bus' are very tiring. To pass time I slept, did school projects, listened to Alex's impressions, joked around with the bus driver about random stuff. TIMMY RULES! I also layed across seats, and me and my friends tried to see how many people we could fit in the sqashed seat.

This seat, had ABSOLUTELY no leg room, literally. The edge of the seat was squished up against the back of the seat in front of it. California is very boring to drive through on the interstate. I can't wait for next year, we're flying down to New York, and then driving to Boston!

          • Ooh! I keep forgetting: I read Fruits Basket a couple weeks ago, and I LOVE it. The library finally got the first one back in. My favorite scene is at the very end, when they <span class="ev_code_WHITE">"kidnap the princess."</span> (That's not likely a spoiler, but I colored it just in case.) And I've just gotten "into" manga, so I probably wouldn't have many more suggestions.

Kaiba, what do you need for the FF.net thing? I could e-mail the admins, or...what's you're penname, anyways? Should I know already? --'

I don't really skip-skip. If the class sucks, and we're not doing anything, I'll ask to go to the bathroom and then take a walk around the school. If I'm down a floor, I'll run. HAH!! MY GPA IS 4.1!! I'm not quite sure how GPA's work, but 4.0 is the best, so 4.1 has to be something. XD I wonder what I got on my midterms. Oh, and I sure as heck didn't have straight As. *shrugs*
I don't SKIP school, as much just stay home. I get "sick" and mom LETS me stay home. Skipping, from my point of view, is pretending you're going to school then...not. And only one teacher in our school uses 4.0 scales. Most use the 100 scale. I don't even have to worry about GPAs until I take high school classes...next year! Even though I'm in middle school! I'm taking Algebra I, which is a 9th grade course, so it counts for my GPA for high school. Which scares me. Cuz math is my WORST subject.

Yep I do know XD. Thats part of why I mentioned it. I find it funny that you guys call thongs flip flops XD. Oh, if you ever get confused as to some of the terminology that I use, refer to http://aussieslang.com/ for more information. I haven't given that to newbies for a while, so there it is. Be ware, I may just go over the top with it a couple of times...

Yay! I scored at Bookfest this morning. Well, marginally compared to what I have found there in previous years, but it was a score all the same. I got one Doctor Who video (Planet of the Daleks), two Dreamstone videos (a cartoon that I used to watch when I was little), one of the Little Mermaid (disney version) TV series video tapes, a Young Jedi Knights book, and four Doctor Who novels - one of which has been autographed by Peter Davison . The friend that I went with on the other hand got alot more. She found two 'Captain Planet' videos (she was looking for them), an assortment of books and a collection of Star Trek Fact file thingys - bloody oath they were heavy! She found one of them on a table as we were leaving and then the guy next to us in the line mentioned that he'd seen the other six folders in a far off corner. She ran to get them and we got to lug around seven folders worth of star trek information. Always good fun...

              So yeah...

              Julie, what is 'Esquimalt'?

              • I'm considering switching VGDawn over to the L&L2's layout. I'd have a lot more flexibility that way. The thing is, I'm not sure how to do that... so I'll be playing around with the forums and all of what's on the normal section. I'm creating copies of each, too, so that I won't screw up the forums with my surgeory. L&L2 looks awesome, and thanks to PM (WHO SO ROCKS!!! THANKS SO MUCH), all of the original L&L section is there.

Ehh... there's a bird flu going around with a 50% death rate in Thailand. So, umm... <span class="ev_code_WHITE">maybe we won't go afterall. XD Suck, I knew something like this would happen. Maybe not a lethal disease, but whatever. And once the bird flu has adapted itself to people, it'll find a way to spread easily. The flu warps itself with ease. SUCK!!!!!</span>

                • Oh yes, I can talk lots when I feel like it. *maniacal laughter* Oops. That's Lovey's. Anyway, I remember a time when my posts were absolutely tiny...though, I think I've posted very few one-liners.

ATM: I'd say you're still a newbie. *shrug*

Ah, chat. A magical place that I rarely visit... *snicker* It's fun to throw things at it. MOO HAHA!

Lovey and I had an long discussion about being smitten. This discussion consisted of the following.

                  L: You're smitten.
                  A: No, I'm not.
                  L: You're so smitten!
                  A: *glowering stare*
                  L: You're a smitten kitten!
A: *growl* No. I. Am. Not.

Finally, after about a week of this, I admitted that I was smitten.

Alla: You got me confused. *head spins* I wasn't expecting to get an answer from that...

Oh yeah! Magic Kingdom was next, I think. *ponders* Anyways, it poured there. The heavens opened up and let loose the raging seas upon our unexpecting heads. Actually, expecting. We heard thunder and saw huge dark clouds. It was all just to prove that there is NOT a protective dome around Disneyworld that keeps out the rain. *snicker* I'll have to tell my band teacher... Well, we stayed for the parade thing and the firework show. That was pretty cool.

Oops. I just realized that my pin said "Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust", not "fairy dust". Eep. Knew I'd mess up somewhere...

MGM studios was pretty neat, but we didn't stay there for very long. I found out that my Disney character was Tinkerbell. Something along the lines of "suffers from frequent bouts of jealousy" and "a frequent flier". Yeah. Sure. Whatever.

I hate the way our school does report cards. You don't even see the percentage. There's not even an A+! If you get a 95 or higher, it shows up as an A. *rolls eyes* So, even if you get 100%...argh. It just annoys me.

Alrighty. I'm over it now. I'm bored. *sigh*

By talking to ZolaOnAOL, I found this: ZolaOnAOL [1:29 PM]:
smitten adj syn see ENAMORED 1
idiom bitten by the love bug

Ick. That's ugly looking. Well, smitten's synonym is "enamored" and an idion is "bitten by the love bug". *snicker* That's the meaning Lovey meant in our...er...discussion.

                  • Lisa: Thanks for the recommenation. Fruits Basket either gets people hooked or bores them to death... for me, it's the lesser. It's a good series, just, er, not my favorite. T.T But then again maybe I'll try it for a second time... I was in a sour mood the first time I check it out, you have inspired me to read it again. And I have inspired you to learn Japanese after learning Latin, or at least Lisa-chan said so in shippings topic.

Anyway, my account on ff.net is brand-new, I've only submitted one chapter of one story. I write a LOT, random stuff and fanfics and everything. I just haven't been able to post any of it! Crosovers, one-shots, mary-sue fics, yaoi, YW, Yugioh, Inuyasha, HP, I've written a TON, but not sumitted anything! It says "FanFiction.Net Error: An error has occurred while processing your request. Please alert site admin." In another forum I mentioned this to someone who liked YGO and had an account there, she said it was just something wrong with the site for a day, supposedly it does that sometimes, but it's not been working for a while, not simply a day. I even changed the formats and such.

The only thing I actually submitted was a vampire-fic on Ryou and Bakura. I don't like the first chapter, it's a sucky piece of writing, and the format got messed up (it looked so much better on my computer! -_- It'll one day be strong yaoi, maybe even lime or UST (I do NOT write hentai or lemon), but presently nothing at all has happened...

Oh yeah, I did forget to say my user/pen name. I usually forget the important things like that... It's "Aya-Kaiba-Yasha." We can be buddies, or favorites or something, Dreamer of Dragons.

About buddies, is ANYONE doing the buddies thing on this site? Isn't there a tab for such a thing on the profile area? Does anyone actually USE it?

Angel-star, are you saying that you're dissapointed to not have an A+ and only an A? Whhaaaa? Excuse me, but an simple A, even a B, is a prefectly fine grade. If only my math report card would like to raise itself to somethinglike that...

People in Australia find it odd that we call flip-flops thongs? Eh... wierd... 'cause "thongs" is an even wierder word for shoes. But I guess "flip-flops" would sound really strange too, considering that it's such a strange word, even to use. "Flip-flop." I never really thought about it, but why DO we use such a ******** word? Couldn't have used a more normal and obvious word, like "sandal-that-goes -between-toes" or something. Joking XP, that would be even longer and stupider.

Esquimalt... It's a city... kind of. It's literally a city, but it's almost more of a municipality of Victoria. The city I live in, Langford, was recently named a city and it's the fastest growing community in Canada. Prety cool huh?

Oh, no. That's not what I mean. I just wish that it would show when I did have an A+, like in Band, where it's near impossible to get anything else. *sigh* I've never gotten a B (on my report card; I've gotten C's and even D's on tests and stuff) before, so that wouldn't be good with me. *shrug*

I've been telling Shoe about how much Lovey and I talk about him here.
