Has anybody ever read the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice?
If you haven't then get your butt to amazon or get your nearest book store and get them. They are amazing! First book is called Interview with the Vampire.

The one thing I dislike is that Anne Rice doesn't allow fanfiction
Anne Rice explores the human condition and what makes us human from the perspective of vampires. My favorite character is Lestat de Lioncourt.
BTW Anne Rice's books and vampires are so much better that Stephenie Meyer's books and vampires.
