    And about time too.

    The Telegraph's story is here. The BBC's article also has video of Terry talking about how it feels to receive the accolade (at least the virtual form of it -- he probably won't be going to see the Queen for a month or two yet).

    That is SO AMAZING! Sorry for shouting, but it makes me incredibly happy. It's extremely sad that he has Alzheimer's though. That disease so so depressing. I love Pratchett's books.

      Hooray!
      First I've heard of it, but he's in my top-10 authors. I hope that (particularly with his financial contributions to the research) they are able to find a cure or at least better treatment options soon.

          This is so cool! Congratulations to Sir Terrence

          It is really sad about the Alzheimer's.

          (I think it should be honour. He is British, after all - besides the fact that its meant to be spelt honour anyway )
