      heart transplant, silly

      not head transplant.

However, a head transplant could make for a very unusual dream.

OOps. Must've misread it. Darn. I've spent the better part of the day reading the rest of Bob the Angry Flower's archives. And for no good reason at all.

        Oh well.

...what do you call that phenomenon that's like the opposite of sleepwalking, when your senses are working, but you're still in dream-mode and can't move?
That would be 'sleep paralysis', I believe. I think I had that during an earthquake once. An odd experience.

I had this really weird dream twice, and it was the exact same both times. It was like people lived in these houses that looked like those ancient ruins, but they were in the clouds. I remember that I was with my brother and dog. There were the strange dinosaur-like creatures, but they were all black with red eyes. I made my brother and dog hide in a closet with me until they left. Then I woke up. I think that one of the creatures was about to find us. It was really scary when I was asleep, but when I woke up I thought it was kind of funny. It was so unrealistic.

First off, I'm writing this without reading the whole topic. One time my dad was sleep walking and he peed into a garbage can thinking it was the toilet! (he was like 7 at the time, BTW) About my dreams, most of the time they have something to do with skewed environments. Like, one of my old houses from when I lived in a different state, but the house is in my current city. Also, things that happen during the day weasel their way into my dreams. LAst night I dreamt that I was going to college and I was shooting fireworks in my dorm room. Obvious reasons for that part of the dream is I will be going to college and yesterday was the 4th. I tend to dream a lot about going to school, but I'm always late or something happens on the way. And then when I was nervous about the AP tests I was going to take in May, I kept dreaming that I was either late or went to the wrong one or failed them. Anyways, I have to cut this short, I might get a chance to share more later.

Are you sure? Lucid dreaming is a dream you control because you are aware that you are dreaming.
I am gonna type an exerpt from the Dream Book, by Gillian Kemp just for you guys, so read all of it!! LMAO, pay close attention.

There are five different types of dreams:

Ordinary dreams- During the day our consious minds are active, but at night the subconcious takes over. Ordinary dreams are based on the activity of the unconcious in responce to what we have seen or heard in our waking hours. Even a single thought can trigger a dream. Atomatic unconcious stores of knowledge that have made an impression remain filed in the brain and remain unpercieved until "read" by dream symbols, which are "the language of the soul". Events from the day and from years past are mirrored in the sleeping mind, as seemingly long-forgotten memories can resurface in dream imagery. The soul is particularly susceptible to the bygone memories that are brought to light through pictures in the minds eye. In addition to being clairvoyant, dreams are also clairaudiant, as we hear souls speak in our mind's ears. Clairvoyance means "clear sight". It is the supernatural ability to see people and events far away in time or location. Clairaudience means clear hearing. It is the faculty to hear with the mind's ear. Words spoken to us in our dreams should be taken literally, because such spiritual communication can show us how we should be when awake. You get the best out of your future by understanding what a dream is saying to you pictorially and verbally.

Lucid Dreams- A lucid dream is one you can control because you are aware that you are dreaming. You can also decide what to dream before going to sleep and then dream about the very thing you planned to.

Telepathic Dreams- Telepathy, known as the "language of the angels" allows the dead and the living to speak in dreamland. In this meeting place, death is no barrier and the living cross the threshold into a heavenly shpere of existence. The mental communication can also occur mind to mind between two living people. We may send our own or recieve others intentional or non-intentional thoughts as mental visions in dreams. Extended telepathy during sleep is a communication between two worlds, the nighttime world of the soul and the daytime world of the body.

Premonitory Dreams- Premontiory Dreams are similar to telepathic dreams in that your spirit leaves your body and ventures on a voyage of discovery. Premonitory dreams are special because they reveal the future and allow the dreamer to see truths that are not accessible in waking life. In telepathic dreams we can also detect information about an imminent event. Dreams are the catalyst that put your body into motion to follow and fulfill your wishes and desires.

Nightmares- most nightmares are linked to early childhood, when we are inexperienced and therefore, dependant on others. Before the age of three, we have not developed a sense of consience of right and wrong.

^ I didn't write all of the nightamares part that there is in the book, because it is just too, too long!

My dreams got upgraded to the 21st century . The other night in a dream, I got an email about a story idea. (It was a good one, too.) I don't think I've ever got any ideas from dream webpages, but I expect it'll happen some time.

I think my subconscious is scared of lucid dreams. I used to know that it was a dream if I couldn't read signs etc, but now I can do that. If I look away from it and look back, I still can't read it a second time, the dreams aren't that detailed, but I'm sure my subconscious is working on upgrading that, too. It's weird - my ego and id are in a dream arms race to outwit each other .

I had this strange dream last night. I think I've had it before, but I'm not sure. My friends and I went into this house that had all these three-eyed cats in it. If they bit you, you turned evil. The people who lived in the house had been bitten. I had to run to this store and get someone to find a cure. When I got back, I was bitten. I blacked out for a bit, then I woke up feeling really weird. (in the dream still) I left the house, still feeling weird and slightly as if I were evil or something. I talked to an old lady, then I felt better.

Sometimes having a vivid imagination isn't always a good thing...

I had a really weird dream once, and I couldn't wake up from it. It was about me "Supposedly" running to a light but I wasn't really going anywhere... it was very horrifying. Then my friend woke me up and said that i was breathing very heavly. oops!

I was reading a Harry Potter book until 1230 am, and when I went to sleep I had a very strange dream:

JKRowling moved into my apartment complex. I went over to her house and kept on badgering her about HBP, I kept asking her who it would be. I drove her to insanity and caused her to move out.

ACK! I can't beleive I live in Washington and I don't have a coffee maker in my house? Do I have to walk all the way to Starbucks for some caffinated goodness? I need a coffee maker... *cough* er... excuse my random nothingness.
... But he was looking through the window at the one joy from which he must be forever barred.

Cress I would take that back right now. VC is from Washington. (I think she's from Tacoma but that's right next to Seattle.) They take their coffee seriously there.
I don't like coffee but that's what my dad lives on so...
