Yea, it seems like I see the number 33 a lot. However I agree with Char in that once you pay attention to one number, you see it more often. You are exposed to thousands of numbers everyday. There of course is going to be a big chance that the number you think is stalking you is going to appear.

i agree...i've been agreeing i think, at least when i mention my own experiances. At some point or another, you notice a number that appears a lot at random (before it really sets in) and from that point on, you start looking for the number to appeare again...so, of course, at some point or another, it does. Or it could be a mass conspiracy done by the numbering world. can't rule anything out you know! (mostly kidding. obviously. :P) though as a general rule, i think anything could be possible, i also think...why the heck would anyone bother?I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

You guys know that number curses don't exist, right? This is all a joke, right? Nobody believes this, right?
I can create a world, out of letters and words. I can make you believe something in a paragraph. I can make you love someone in a page. I can make you go places that don't exist in a book. That's all the magic I need. [url]http://melpomene.freeforums

i personally don't believe in it as a curse...i just think sometimes some numbers are more commonly used then others, particularly once you start going ojt of your way to LOOK for them. for example, atthe time of this post, i can see at least three twos hjeere alone. no wait, four. ok, now i can see two many to count...there's even a two (at the end of a twelve) at the computer i'm on! point being, you can find most numbers everywhere if you look.I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

After 9/11 I started to see on the clocks 9:11, whether it's in the am or the pm. It scares me a lot. And also, I used to see 11:11 on the clock too, at night, after my sister told me that was the time the evil/good spirits comes out... (that was when I was really young). But I normally just see 9:11. ugh, twilight zone?Time passes. Even when it seems impossible.
Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise.
It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me.

and you also posted at 5:11? am by site time. :P Just stop looking for fifty one, and i'm sure it'll go away...eventually. and the topic's ALWAYS been page fiftyone! addmittely, this IS taking things a bit far when it effects your time stamp, and it owuld be rather interesting if there was an actual number curse (and annoying too, all considering) but still, i'm sure it'll go away.I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.

That is pretty freakish. But there has to be some logical explanation, or theoretical explanation, or something useful. *realizes that only two minutes are left on library computer* Now that I think of it, the number 157 has been popping up abnormallyDif-tor heh smusma.
