Wooh, all today I've been listening to metal. AHAHAHAHA And slipknot! Oh, and Greenday, which isn't metal, but still. I know the words to that, and I can sing along while I clean my room. Love singing along to Greenday.

I have no idea who Billy Joel is. Still. XD

I think The Cure is the oldest music I listen to. 1989, it says. So 16 years.

"I have no idea who Billy Joel is. Still. XD" What is WRONG with the people in this world?! First a couple of friends of mine (me and Cress fixed that, hehehe) then Diego, now you, Gryph! How many other people don't know who Billy Joel is?! Listen to Piano Man! We Didn't start the fire! Leningrad! Uptown Girl! Billy Joel is the KING of piano, he plays with Elton John sometimes (apparently they're GREAT together in concert, but I've never seen one... *grumbles*), and PLEASE don't tell me you guys don't know who Elton John is or I'm gonna have to hurt you.

I don't know who Elton Joh---

Okay, okay, it was tempting. But I actually do know who Elton John is! I really do. My grandma used to point him out to me when we listened to his music sometimes. I think I liked it.

        Hehe

You THINK you liked it? *shakes head* Elton John is awesome!! He did a lot of Lion King songs and some Moulin Rouge songs were spoofs off of his songs. *goes of singing Come What May off key*

Oh wait, no, they played the "Stacy, Madonna" song (dunno if that's its real name) "If I were a rich girl"
Funny you should mention those. They're probably the only "popular" songs I know. (And then, I only know 1985 cuz my friend was obseesed with it, and cuz our local Target store played it constantly. I was forced to listen to "If I was a Rich Girl" on a gield trip for chorus in the car on the way there.) Oh, and I know Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

Um, you might kill me for this, (gets out shield and sword) but I don't really know who Billy Joel or Elton John are. I've heard of them, but I don't know what they're famous for.

Yes, I saw that Bob the Builder special .

I also remember Elton Johm releasing records like Crocodile Rock - back in the early 70s, when this was all new stuff .

Billy Joel? Oh yeah, that new guy, the Piano Man. Do they still make records?

I remember Jim Croce's Time in a Bottle being played on the radio, and then later hearing that he'd died . Oh, that was from the Music topic.

And that's why I hate 'em, cuz they're popular.
Billy Joel isn't that new, he started in the late 70's or early 80's... I think... anyways, they both rock!

Late 70's, yes, and... oh, wait. *checks calendar* 2005? You mean, it's over thirty years now since the Beatles broke up?

Well, I say he's new. So there. I can't help it if lots of people I've never heard of are newer, can I?
                      You're kidding, right? Hehehe roflmao.
No, it was the Christmas special edition from 2003 or so. Maybe 2002. (Bob the Builder is a stop-motion animated children's series, by the way.) This band was booked to play at the town's Christmas party, and they had a roadie called Reg Dwight. Something went wrong, and the band couldn't or wouldn't play, and Reg played the piano, singing Crocodile Rock or something. And the voice of Reg was someone originally christened Reg Dwight, but who changed his name in the 70s to Elton John.

Have you ever seen the Lion King? I thought Elton John did the song Can You Feel the Love Tonight...I could be wrong, but I thought that was his doing.

Anyway, I like metal now too! I'm sure a lot of you have heard me mention this line before, but: ISN'T THERE ANY MIGHTWISH SONGS ON THE NIGHTWISH FAN STATION?
As you can tell, I like Nightwish, but I've only really heard one of their songs, Wish I Had an Angel (and yes a lot of you have heard about that song if you've been around me recently). I heard some sound clips at the Nightwish website, and I'm trying to get my sis to send me some MP3's of their songs...
I also like MANY other bands, including Green Day, Evanescence, Papa Roach, and a lot of ones they play on the Nightwish fan station (Lacuna Coil, Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, Iced Earth, etc.) and a some things they have played on my customized launch station.

I have run out of things to say, for some odd reason...*wanders off*
