Could we please have fewer pointless posts? Admittedly, this isn't a topic that requires long-winded explanation, but these extremely short, single-lined messages with several lines of signature are not in good taste.

Okay, now y'all are making me feel ancient. I'm going to be 30 in a couple of months. When I read my first YW book (Deep Wizardry) I was perhaps 15 or 16 -- I regretted not being a little younger, because it's exactly what I was looking for when I was 13. Heck, it's exactly how I FELT when I was 13.

Is there anyone around here who's been reading the series since the beginning?

Me. I'm 37. So, I picked up the first book when I was 17 or 18, I guess. Read all of Duane's other novels, most notably the Star Trek books and Door series, so I wasn't gonna let a YA label stop me.
