Sam: I'm also a leftie! Lefties are cool, but yeah, the side of my hand is always black with ink by the end of the day. Oh well. I could write with my right hand if I wanted to, but I write too slowly that way.

You know, a bunch of lefties have permission to write upside-down in their notebooks, so the spirals don't cut them. We had several bloody hands last year. I'm kind of ambidextrous, actually. Left is very strong.

Lucky little people! I hate it when the notebook rings get in my way, and when we have to write on the board everyone makes fun of me because I have to write slanted so I don't wipe off the stuff I already wrote! I love being a leftie though, it make me different from the crowd, I only know 7 lefties including the ones I know from here. Why don't they make backward sprial note books/note books for lefties, like Nora's anime books are made?

Interesting little tidbit: My grandfather was a leftie. In school, they'd slap him on the wrist if he wrote with his left hand. Imagine if they still did that today...

Another annoying thing about being a leftie: Those desks that are made for righties. You know, the ones where the desk is only on the right side of the chair? I had to use one once, and it was a little awkward, to say the least.

I just thought of something: Hebrew is written from right to left. No problem writing that, huh?

Yeah, there was a famous artist... I wanna say di Vinci but I'm not sure if that is right. Well anyway whoever it was was a leftie and he lived back when they used quill and ink and he couldn't write so that you could read it because the ink would smear. So he created mirror writing. ONLY the lefties at my school can write in mirror writing fluently without messing up.

This may sound Out of topic, but it isn't. Have you read All American Girl?

There are four kids in my family and we're split equally, right and left: I'm a righty and so's Rewi, Hedley and Freya are lefties. But I don't think either of them have many problems, because we don't use binders like yours, I suppose.

But I do know a sad fact abut lefthanders. left-handed people often have to rearrange stuff from the norm because they use the opposite hand. This means that they often end up in acreers like architecture and artistic, manual stuff because they have a better... I mean, their minds can see and project stuff more easily. This is great. the sad part is that left-handers also die earlier. But soemthing horrific like ten years, because all that energy you spend turning stuff around mounts up, I guess. *hugs* I like lefties, so that makes me sad.

Don't say I'm gonna die sooner!!!!!!!!!!!!! That hurts Tui. JK It is fun being able to right fleuntly in mirror writing. *nods* PPL envy me, I made my dancer friend a prettyful peice of paper, it said DANCE! in both left corners and DANCE! in mirror writing in both right corners, then I wrote NADC (her dance company) RULES!(not true, mine is better *evil laughter*) on the top and it in mirror writing on the bottom, then I wrote the types of dance she takes on the right side and it in mirror writing on the left then I wrote her name all prettyful in the middle, and the initals were made of bent ballet shoes. And it only took me 3 minutes, mostly because the shoes took a while. *nods*

Me neither. I've read All-American Girl. It's good. She's a leftie. I think...it's been a few years. I don't write with my left hand often for a good reason!!!!!!!! It's HARD!!!! Right is easier, but I'm able with left.
