Something weird about the name Kit I noticed...

When I was looking up "Diane Duane" on the online catolouge for my library, it came up with "Duane, Diane" then under it there was "Duane, Kit" I was wondering maybe they're related and that's where she got Kit's name...it would make sense. What do you guys think about this?

It's possible. a lot of authors get there names from legends, or friends. I get entire charactors from friends some times. It's a bit better then looking through a phone book, after all.
