Earlier when I was talking about I meant it for Kit and Nita. Oh yeah and maybe Nita can get a little more popular at school and make a new frined and then maybe Kit would feel neglected so that would be a kind of dramatic twist to it.

HEEEEELLLLLOOOOO!?!?! Let's remember what these books are about, okay? Wizardry. Not. Romance. Okay. No more unnecessary details. Please. Is. This. Clear. Enough? Am I getting through?

::::kit and nita kit and nita darnit::::! i mean, c'mon people... yeah, and epic battle would be cool! but the story does need that dramatic twist... like, nita and kit should get into a BIG fight over something... i dunno, my thoughts are a little messed up at the moment, but hey, what are discussion boards for (to point out other people's faults by judging their writing style, of course...)?

Not really. If these books were about Wizardry, they would probably be pretty boring and none of us would like them. Wizardry simply happens to be a major part of the backdrop for these books. These books, like all good stories, are about people. They are about the characters, and how they grow through their experiences. As such, romance could certainly be a part of them. There already was an element of that in Abroad, if you recall. As long as that doesn't become the focus of the plot, I don't see a problem.

Ok. I know how everybody's been talking about Kit and Nita, but in Abroad didn't Nita kiss Ronan? I mean, she had a crush on him then, and even though she's never seen him since, don't you think he should come back in one of the books? But then maybe Kit would get jealous, and in Dilemma they had a fight, (but made up pretty quickly). But (OK, I'm basically thinking of ideas as I type) Kit and Nita COULD break up from being wizardly partners, so it could happen is Ronan comes to visit Nita. Ok, anyway, it was just a fantasy. So, does anybody agree with me about Ronan?

I TOTTALLY agree with worlebird!!!! I would be sooooooooo disapointed if all they did was wizardry!!!!!!! The characters need feelings and emotions, if they don't the book would be..be...emontionless...no feeling.......
Anyway, lelolxi, are you saying you want ronan and nita to get back together? I have one question for all u ronan and nita fans, if nita really liked ronan, how come theres no mention of him in any of the 2 new books??? How come they haven't spoken to eachother if they wanted to continue the relationship?????

Oh yeah, I guess you have a point there. Oh well, I still liked Ronan...

I agree with Ella-person, though. Maybe the books aren't all about wizardry, but do they then have to be all about romance?? That. after a while, is not interesting either.

I don't care much whether there's romance either way, as long as it doesn't consume the story (if ya get what I mean)

I agree with Larwan, if theres romance, i hope it doesnt consume the story. I also don't really like the idea of Nita and Ronan...they would have to pop back and forth (unless Ronan moves) and it would propbably mess up her partnership...

I too don't like the Nita and Rolan idea. It's kinda funny to see how many people actually reply to what i thought. But anyways, I think at least one book should be action-packed. I'm not sayin something like "Terminator" action, but a wizardy war WOULD be pretty kool. Sonce I have been thinking it over, i think it would be pretty sad if one of the main characters died. I just think something dramatic should happen, after Nita's mom that is. I know I'm probably not making any sense cuz i said i wanted action, then i wanted drama...o well!!!
O, btw, does anyone know about how many of these books Diane is goin to write? I think it would be totally awsome if she actually read this thread and read my ideas. Anyways, tell me ur thoughts!!!

yea, the books definatly need suspense. That is a very important aspect of writing because it keeps the audiece turning the pages. Personally, i like a lot of suspense, wondering what will happen in a few chapters really excites me. So, anyone else agree?
