Over all the books, Kit is the one I'd miss most if something happened to him. But Ed? Ed is awesome. I love the fact that he never stops having teeth...you just start seeing more than them. He's no gentleman and he's certainly not nice. But watching someone developing a little compassion for the first time is touching.
