No, Kerri (real life) was never my gf (more's the pity) , but we were really good friends, the kind of ones who can be honest w/ eachother. They're the best friends to have. But it since it was just a three week take-one-college-class-and-live-on-a-dorm-college-testdrive type of experience (it was at University of Maryland), nothing ever came of it and now she's back in Pennsylvania and odds are slim (unless she comes back for next year--its for rising juniors and seniors) that I'll ever see her again. (Ahh, the bittersweet taste of summer...)

Now that I've bled my heart for at least, what five lines? to answer your question. No, I don't plan on it, unless a long amount of time goes by and nothing else happens.

I'm all for some bad-guy smackdown. Let's do it.

On a totally unrelated note (aren't they all), Did you know that the main character in Stealing the Elf King's Roses by DD is named Lee Enfield? Which begs the question: which came first, the administrator or the book?

On a slightly related note: DD wouldn't kill Ponch, he's much to versatile as a character.

Dueling is actually really fun. As long as you're running other characters also. If your not, then it can get real boring, real quick. It's actually kind of neat to do the thing blow-by-blow. It almost gives a semi-Matrix feeling to the whole roleplay. Expecially with the amazing occurance that no one actually wants to give up and die. You actually have to either have a third party flip a coin or keep writing until someone writes themselves into a corner which they can't reasonably RP out of...

We're really turning into the Let's Make the Topic Comfortable in its Last Posts Foundation: LMTTCIILPF. But thats a "mouthfull" so lets officially stay the STTF and unofficially be the LMTTCIILPF.

I asked that in the last online chat, and DD and Lee have known each other for a while, and the character was named after her.

nyway, the parallel universe thing is an interesting theory. You know how time bends and twists the same way space does--it's possible Ponch is actually a being created AFTER the change in the Lone Power, kinda like the glade. It'd be a Doctrine of Immaculate Conception kinda thing.
I'm not Catholic, and I only found the DoIC in Robert J. Sawyer's book "Homonids". Actually, he provides an interesting theory dealing with parallel universes in Homonids.
Back on topic, my other theory has to do with the One. Is it possible that Ponch is like, I dunno, a piece or a break-off of the One or something like that?

Sharky I always read most of your posts!! Sometimes I do struggle to understand but I think the country language shift thing and the age differance and the fact I'm a lonner needs to be taken into account and other than that I think I'm doing ok!!

Ugh. Sounds like me, Fox. But I'm only 16. Still, it doesn't help matters that I'm going to an all guys school. Maybe, I'll get lucky in college...
*Lonely sigh.* But if It'll make you feel better, there's this song out by Bonnie McKee called "Somebody" just do a search on the web (or RealOne Player, for that matter) which is basically our problem put into music with a fairly good gospel choir background, behind the piano and drums (I happen to be listening to it right now.). Anyway, it's pretty good, you should check it out... (maybe you might like it too, Nita...)

I guess that could be... It's hard to think of the LP as being redeemed, when It's shadows are running around wreaking havoc on Nita and Kit... It still feels to me like I desparately want Ponch to be a different type of engima. It feels kind of like being cheated if it turns out a mortal couldn't be like Ponch, he always need a power backing him if he's going to do anything really great.

We should really be putting notifications when we're actually in topic. We hardly ever do, after all, Randy typed under the screenname "Sharklord." He was, once again, listening to the music which he had linked on his RealOne player. Now, his speakers were spouting out Usher's "Confessions Pt. II." He sighed, re-reading Fox's post along with Nita's new ones. The song was ending. He cued up Yellowcard's "Ocean Avenue," and after watching the commercial preceding the video, checked to make sure that the thing was working right, then minimized it. Randy, snickered when he saw, Nita's almost all-caps way of showing that she dissaproved of the current suggestion about Ponch. Randy smiled, noticing that while the heart of the postings was nowhere near wether Ponch was an different sort of abdal, or the reformed LP or anything of the sort, everyone was trying to do thier best to at least have one sentence on topic.

Randy read the next part of Nita's post, and hoped her wish for Fox came true. Randy hardly ever wished predicaments he was in on others, unless they deserved it, and Fox didn't deserve it. Randy read the private part of Nita's post, meant for his eyes only. He started to formulate a response, but scratched it from his mind. No more questions. He thought. It's her life, and her privacy. What right have I to ask her anything else? Randy felt that if Nita had anything more to say to him, then she would, on her time. So he typed this response: <span class="ev_code_WHITE">"Oh, at least he isn't something like thirty three, or something. That would just be wierd... Well, I hope it all turns out OK for you, and you can always talk to me if you want. Randy looked at his somewhat rounded body and slightly lacking muscles. On the positive side, he was going with his father to a personal trainer. Randy was doing quite well. He was proving to be just as strong and stronger than his father, and was dropping weight fairly steadily. His clothes were more comfortable now and the hour-long ordeal of commute arcoss three forms of trasportation (one being walking), wasn't so much of an ordeal anymore. So soon I might be able to better look the part, and with my moderate skills at chess and my considerable prowess at bowling, what girl could resist me. I mean, they'd be coming from miles around to date a guy who can get a 277 in bowling. Randy wanely smiled at his sarcastic self-critisism. Maybe he should hang the whole thing up and spend his days watching new editions of "The Bachelor."

But first, he had to finish his post. Randy hastily padded his private conversation post with extra arguements about why Ponch could be the Reedeemed LP in disguise. A quick note of consolation to Fox. And a final chide about how the Graysons were a pretty weak family, and how the McGrays were, of course the superiors. Randy also mentioned that Eowen had better watch her back in the deul, or she might find a knife stuck in it.

With a click of the "Post Now" button, Randy's thoughts, hopes, and feelings were out in open water, where anything could happen.
