post count for points

my ACTUAL post counts doing fine. But when I look at my stats for the post count, it sees I've made over two thousand.

Maybe I'm just not seeing something (likely, considering how little I know about the system) but I figured I should say something.

You get two points for every post, and 0.3 points for every reply to a thread you started. An explanation of the points can be found under Quick Links >> vBExperience >> Earn points (here)

Not that - it says, in the stars "posts"

The number given is different than my actual post count.

That bit appears to be a break down of what counts towards the 'posts' category for your points. You'll notice above it in the 'Points for user' , you have what the total points per user is, and then a break down of where those points come from; points per day, filled profile etc.
