I was always extremely impressed by the acausal dream in So You Want To Be A Wizard, in which Nita and Fred discuss his death before they'd even met each other. That really made clear the idea that Timeheart is beyond time and causality, that it preserves everything good that ever was, is, or will be.
After all, when someone is alive in one moment of time, they're dead (or unborn) in most others. Concepts like present, past, and future don't really apply to Timeheart, or the Powers for that matter. (Which leads to the nifty development in Deep Wizardry, where one aspect of the Lone One is bound while another is barred from the universe.)
If it's established that Nita can have oracular dreams, that would significantly alter the implications of the dream in SYW for the worse. Please, ma'am, don't do it.
Pppppplease?
(we really need a puppy-dog eyes graemlin)
To be wise, learn foolishness. To be strong, learn weakness. To know joy, learn sorrow.
