Wizardly specialties & changes in specialties

First I guess the differences in the specialties is who you are, they started to be friends so there specialties sort of bacame I guess closely related.Now with the wands they can only be used for a certain amount of time before they "expire" then from what it sounds like they turn into ash.Finally they are used by most wizards, at least the ones on earth. Hope that helped!
