I'm not sure about 'dai' being 'day' in the Speech. If 'dai'stiho' is both a greeting and farewell, I would say 'dai' would have more to do with the good part of it. And stiho, day or life perhaps. Or maybe some unit of time that can only be described in the Speech.
Anyways. Watch out for the oneliners, people. The odd one every now and then is alright, just try to post something longer.
DIE STEE-Ho(if thats how you write the way I pronounce it)
and
H Ra Sh t (I just broke it up, if I pronounced any of these right, must be becuase i can speack Chinese and I'm used to the odd sounding words....either that...Or I'm wierd)

I've always said it TOTALLY wrong then. I've always said it DA-E-STEEHO. I guess i got all wrong then. Oh well. Gosh, wouldn't it be fun to know the speech?

DD says "Dai stihó" on at least one of the wizcasts, so however you spell the way you pronounce it, there is now a definitive answer you can hear her pronounce .
I've always said it DA-STI-HA-O. I think that there are many ways to say "Dai stiho`" it just depends on the species. I wish I could learn the speech.*lol*
