peach appreciation thread

i know others here love peach, but i knuida wanted a count (dont ask why, even I dont want to know) b/c in DW where kit and nita are on hte phone with tom & carl and they are talking to peach is my fave part of the books- what are your fave peach moments (or just plain mental images caused by ANY book). so here's the question:

do you LOVE peach?

so my school is doing Titanic this year, and i get to be benjamin guggenhiem's latest mistress, and last year i was mrs. potifar in joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat....are we seeing an alarming trend here?????????

I liked Peach about as much as Fred. I just like funny characters who don't try to be funny. I would tell you the funniest line Peace ever has in the book but currently i can't find my copy, all i remember was that I was laughing for weeks afterwards.

You have to have the last bit for that to be funny, but it cracks me up every time. Dunno why...

i copied it out of HW into my notebook which has TONS of quotes in it, like the rhyme of the lady of NuRavenna and excerpts from HP#4 (chamber pots...HA!) and it's oath and my compiled version of the wizard's oath, and....yeah, ok off on a tangent. must stop before ..... aack!

I don't know. You could always ask, next chat... I know some authors are very very extreme in terms of planning and so on; but I don't know how DD approaches that, so I have no clue. i agree, it doesn't feel like she did, but that just could be great concealing. *shrugs*

Peach is great! Every scene with her is funny, especially the washroom in HW ("Who knows when I'll get to take another bath?")
I also like anytime she predicts the future, and when she starts singing after watching Pirates of Penzance (sp?)
