After nearly two years, I am abandoning Pirates of the Burning Sea. The signal to noise ratio had gotten so bad where I can't have an enjoyable time without random folks badmouthing all over both the forums and the in game chat. To my salvation, however, in less than 24 hours the new Star Trek Online game goes live in open beta!

What do other Wizardly folks enjoy playing? Hope to see you out there in the galaxy, but don't look for me in the Neutral Zone; I'm pretty bad at PvP, and would much rather explore with friends.

Does DD realize how much of her material got integrated into Star Trek Online? I hope it has her blessing because an AWFUL lot of the Romulan and Vulcan material is cribbed directly from her books, especially Vulcan and Romulan language and history!
