As many people probably already know, last Friday was the national Day of Silence, (for those of you who have never heard of it, it's an anti-homophobia thing where people don't speak all day to symbolized people being silenced by fear), and I was wondering whether anyone else participated. I'm not sure if this is really in the right section, but I was curious and I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it.

Yes. My older sister participated as well as a lot of her school. I was, unfortunately not able to because my school doesn't have it as a regular thing and I only found out about it that morning (Friday morning) so I couldn't tell the teachers (so they don't get weirded out) and so couldn't do it (at school) on such short notice. I did do it at home though.
