Nationalities?

I was just reading various posts, and it was surprising how many people came from where I do (Ireland). So I decided to start this poll.

couldn't you have made a choice for Canada? we're the second biggest (or first biggest) country, after all. And somehow, i don't think there are many African members.

i meant that since africa is a poor country, i dont think many people have computers, and if they do, there is a low probability that anyone there actually found this web page

You're the second biggest after Russia, actually, and what with Mexico I think that "the rest of North America" more or less does mean Canada. Africa as a choice is much more general than the rest of North America because it's bigger in land and huger in population. Another thing is that land and population aren't really proportional. I think the U.S. has more people in less space than Canada.

I'm from Denmark. So, Scandinavia. Ok, continental Europe.

I didn't realize that there's so many europeans here. It's rather surprising, considering that there's normally no one one when I'm on. I was assuming that that was because of the time difference.

Sometimes it's hard to figure out where home is.

Both my grandfathers and my father were born in England.

My grandmothers were born in New Zealand and Japan, and my mother was born in Korea.

I was born in Kenya. So were my brother and sister.

I have lived most of my life in England, but my mother and brother still live in Kenya, and my sister now lives in Australia.

I also live in the USA. I wonder how many people post where they were from, or where they are now. For me i have always live in the USA so it makes no difference.

Wow, Leopard. Your famliy sure is spread out. As for me, I'm Canadian, and so are my parents. My dad's parents are too, but their parents came from England and so on. My mom's dad comes from Romania, and my mom's mom comes from Yugoslavia (not on the map any more).

I would love to be from elsewhere, but I'm from the U.S. as well. ^^ Mostly because I adore traveling and have only been out of the continental US once.

That is soo cool, how we are from all over the world. I never even thought of that. What's ironic is that in school we had just an assembly about racism and nationalities, and how most of the time it's hard for people from different countries to get along. It's obvoiusly not very hard for us. That really is cool that we are all from different places.
