Actually, I love both Southern and Northern California in different ways for different reasons. (I live in San Diego, but I went to school and lived for five years in Berkeley) But it always cracks me up that outsiders from the state don't even realize there IS a difference.

Haha! I'm convinced that anyone that's been driving over a certain time period is convinced that they are way to cool and way too good to even consider the people around them. There's this guy on the radio in LA (asian guy...don't remember his name) and he says that nobody there uses their turn signals. Which is true of anywhere in California.

And then there's checking blind spots. I can't even count how many times I've been pushed over either into the center divider or over into the center turn lane.

WOW!!!! I just looked at those beautiful pictures of S. CALI. Gorgeous. Even Idaho (where I grew up) isn't quite as spectacular... (though, I have to admit, Idaho is beautiful up there in the mountains with all the wild flowers of every color all over the side of the mountain.) I guess I am easily impressed. I live in a dust bowl. Everything is dirty. Lots of clay and dust and dust storms and desert landscapes (a cute term for rocks and strange semi-green plants) and ... well, you get the idea. I do have a green lawn and 3 citrus trees; a valencia (juice orange) and a tangerine and a newly planted lemon. I also have a fig which makes a huge mess and no one ever eats.

I like my neighborhood because most people have grass, but my mother recently moved into an area that is primarily desert landscaping and it just looks dirty all the time. I want to visit Ireland. Someday I will see a place that is really green. I like green.

Okay.. enough ranting about how brown Arizona is. I live here only because there is good work. Well, we moved here when I was 14, because my father's job transfered him here and stayed because here is where my life seems to be. Someone told me once, you have to bloom where you are planted. I try to make it my motto, but it is kinda difficult when everything is so brown... (okay, there I go again.)

Anyways... Since this is the birthday thing.. I will attempt to stay birthday-ish. Happy birthday to my sister-in-law.

I am a great rambler. (The English teacher in me is cringing at all the run-on sentences I seem powerless to stem the flow of.)

Well, I posted like, 2 weeks ago here, and I don't know if everyone else can see it but, I can't! Anyways I wish all a Happy Birthday. i also asked if anyone has a January Birthday, caus' mine's January 17th. I have only 234 days till im 14!

Don't feel bad. There will always be someone older and someone younger than you... it is the way of things.

When I was 11, I wanted to grow up so much. Now that I am grown up, I wonder what the rush was. Sure it is good sometimes, but the responsibility of it can be nearly unbearable. The happiness is only equal to the heartache. Enjoy your time to be young and more carefree. You are a very sweet young woman and you make me smile... that has to count for something.

My Birthday is July 8th!
I want to get a skateboard. Mostly because last weekend all of my friends got together and we all skateboarded and they taught me how. It was really fun, skateboarding is so easy!!!

It's 3rd Lair! (We went there for YMCA camp.) I love YMCA camp. We do crazy things,(Peter Murray just ignore me right now.) PM likes to tease me for one of the weird things we did.
Here's what I did today-
-I slept forever
-Ate a poptart for breakfast
-Went to the Mall of America
-Typed my hands off on the computer
(I've had a very exciting day. *rolls eyes*)
