How many of you have seen this already?

    http://news.com.au/common/story_page...E13762,00.html

    "Oh no" is right...
And the Dragon's song, so wild and strong,
Fell from the sky like rain
Upon my soul; which, watered well,
Bloomed with a joy no words can tell
Where once was a dusty plain.

-A verse from the Song of the Winged Ones

That's so wierd! I don't really think it's a good idea. We already have stars. These would just cover up all the natural things in the sky.

Ugh! That is absolutely disgusting! We can't get away from advertising on the ground, and now we'd see it when we look up in the sky??? That's sick and wrong, and, if it's going to go through, the people need to be consulted.
Then again, my dad says it'll probably never happen. I hope not.

Ew! No! That would TOTALLY destroy looking up into the sky at night!!!!!!! I mean in the cities you can't exactly see very many stars anyways, but what about in the country and non-city type places?!? Up at my cabin *whistles* the stars are sooooooooooo cool to look at, I LOVE stars. If there was suddenly an add for ciggerettes or something like that, I swear I would never look up at night outside again.
*gasp* I just thought of something, What if they started making stars to form faces of celebritys!?!?! *gasp* THE HORROR!!!!!!!! I can just imagine camping and looking up into Britney Spears face.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! THE HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          *sigh*

"So she says to me, 'This is a really clear night' And I says, 'Yeah, it's a perfect night for looking at the ads,' and she says 'yeah,' and so we went out to lookout hill, and we lays down in the grass and we look up. And she turns to me and says 'the ads are really pretty today,' and I says 'yeah,' and then I says, 'but not as pretty as you.'"

"Jeez, you are one smooth talker."

..no! They can't do that; it's absolutely wrong! Isn't it enough to commercialize Earth? They have to go and ruin space, too?! I hope your dad is right, Ella. But if they do go through with it we should start a protest. Or send Alexander Lavrynov in for counceling. He needs it.

                *snorts* Uhm, no.

Come on, guys. Apart from the sheer power of eight zillion hopping mad astronomers and their telescopes (and they can be qutie scary. Look at my mother.), even people who aren't astronomers would go psycho if this happened.
