hmmm.... good question.
Well, this screenname is the same as my yahoo email address and a lot of other screen names that I have online. It started off with the yahoo email address, and it was near the beginning of the school year when we just started an unit on Greek Literature and Philosophy (and ;myths)
My head was exploding with Greek Gods and goddesses, so I guess the first thing that popped into my mind was, "aphrodite!"

Tui-sama: Well, not really; I chose papercrane because it sort of felt like me. I mean, like everything should be a simple piece of paper but it's something else...something that can never be what it is folded to be, but rather created as a shadow. Something that can be a million different things, but somehow retains an identity. Something that is as simple as it is complex. Something that is at once nothing and everything and nothing again. As fragile as paper, as strong as the tree it came from. Something that has hidden depths and hollows, yet is all clean folds on the outside. Something that could as easily have been something else. But it was more the...feel of the word that was me. I like papercrane.
