  • Why should someone read A Wizard Abroad?

I am doing a book project for school, and one of the questions is what are some reasons we should read this book?

    Any suggestions?

The easiest way for you to answer this question is to ask why you read it. Had you read other books in the series? Did the cover look cool - if so, what was cool about it? Do you like wizards, kids on holiday, Ireland, or summer romances? All of those are reasons someone might read the book, but there are lots of other ones too.
Go ahead! Panic! Do it now and avoid the June rush! Fear death by water!

In short, because it's a fun read. The Young Wizards series as a whole is wonderfully written, original, and engaging. AWA is also interesting (at least to me) because it explores, in modern context, Irish folklore. But I think Birdhead's advice is also golden, especially because if you write about your own reasons for reading it, you know your topic and information quite well.
"Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away."

...and eyes, sweet as honey, soft as moss, that hold in their black vessels the bitterness of old wounds and the tired peace of growing wisdom.
