Next DD chat

I just realised this morning that we hadn't made a topic for the June 24th DD chat; since everyone who wants to be there needs to RSVP by June 15th, it's a bit late. (I've only been mentioning it in chat. Oops.)

Rather than creating a new topic each time a chat is announced, it probably makes more sense to have just one and update it with the next chat's date.

About an hour long. They're usually about a month apart, but it depends how busy DD is. I think your post was succinct, rather than short .

David has already used Chime - but wasn't there some comment about you not being able to use Chime at home, David? The chat is on Saturday, US time.

I just realised, I forget to mention I'd put the new transcript up.

As usual, there's a list of all of the transcripts I've done so far, basically 2005 and 2006.

As for the next chat:
Diane Duane: PM -- DOn't know as yet re: the next date. The next month is going to be extremely hectic what with one thing and another.

DD's next chat is on 29th July, at the usual 3pm EDT, 8pm BST. You should RSVP to Lee at admin@youngwizards.net as usual. No closing date for RSVPs has been given yet.

That chat's transcript is now up.

There won't be an August DD chat. The September chat will be on September 16, and you can start RSVPing from August 16th. Again, no closing date for RSVPs has been given yet.

General note: Don't worry if you don't get an acknowledgment from Lee to your RSVP. That's normal, and doesn't mean you won't be able to get into the chat on the day.

Max, generally, to RSVP for a chat, you send an e-mail to Lee, our forum administrator; you probably won't get a reply in confirmation, though. You may want to check out PM's Chat FAQ for more information. If you miss this chat, there will probably be another one next month that you can sign up for.

Dunno if everybody's been checking the YW News & Events blog, but the latest entry says:

The next live chat with DD will take place on December 9th, 2006, at 3 PM (US) EST / 8 PM (UK) GMT / 2000 UT, in the Chime chat area of the YW discussion forums. To RSVP, email Lee, the Forum administrator, at the email address posted for her in the Forums. If you're not a Forum member, you can register at the Forum entry page. Chats normally last for an hour.

Please note that there will be no chat during January. A chat will be scheduled for early February within the next few weeks.
