Long Island Expressway

Also known as Interstate 495 (New York): one of the two major east-west highways of Long Island, the other being the [[Southern State Parkway]]. The Long Island Expressway runs more or less down the center of the Island, from its western end at the Queens Midtown Tunnel to its eastern end where it meets County Road 58 in Riverhead, [[Suffolk County]].
