I wish I could say that light was my inspiration but sadly I am not that clever; now i need to look that up because I am curios as to why you asked.
My reasons were a bit more fangirly since I think I had been going though a Joss Whedon phase and was watching Angel. I liked the name of Illyria, a pretty blue demon that took over a main character's body, so I modified it and made it the name that I use on pretty much every site that I sign up for.
